Process Improvement

Perhaps better known under flashy names as Business Process Redesign or Re-engineering, Business Process Improvement, Business Process Management, Continual Improvement Process. Maar waarom moeilijk doen als het makkelijk kan? Procesverbetering dus!

Process Improvement is simply the act of making existing processes more effective. In that context ‘more effective’ can mean different things:

• Improving the quality of a product or service
• Making the process more efficient
• Making the process more cost-effective
• Reducing the environmental impact of a process

Ideally, it will be a combination of the above. I often see that for very small organizations, much can be gained by improving the tooling used to support processes.
